Our range of medium voltage motors is used across various industries. The demand for large, electrically driven applications is increasing, and medium voltage motors are often the ideal choice when a high output is needed. A higher voltage motor allows a lower current, which enables the use of smaller cables to supply the application – making medium voltage motors a cost-optimising solution.
Lifetime is a critical element with medium voltage motors, so our product range is tested for both electric and thermal lifetime. All motors are tested and approved according to IEC 60034-18-32 & 42 for electric lifetime and IEC 60034-18-31 for thermal lifetime, giving a tested minimum lifetime of 20,000 hours.
Our medium voltage motors come in three voltage options: 3/3.3 kV, 6/6.6 kV and 10/11 kV. Standard frequency is 50 Hz; 60 Hz can be produced on request.
