The new range of motors is designed to meet various efficiency and mechanical requirements across markets.

Whether you plan to sell your application in Germany, Australia, China or the US you can use the World Efficiency Motor. The motor is approved according to the local regulations listed below and can further be installed in all non-regulated markets.

Besides local Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) the motor fulfils other types of regulations as well. E.g. in North America where it is also UL/CSA approved which requires special components from the entire insulation system to the terminal board.

Across markets it meets the local efficiency demands of electric motors despite usage at different voltages which dictates a specially designed insulation system.

Supply chain possibilities

When enabling OEM customers to use the same component for different markets it holds several possibilities for supply chain optimisation. Ketil Vesterlund explains further:

“One motor design means that our customers can deliver the same product quality as well as documentation package across markets. Depending on production setup it can also minimise their inhouse stock of different motor types. In this way we aim to simplify our customers’ purchase and quality processes thus, supporting their supply chain”.
