New capabilities in Hoyer Motors’ Danish test centre

Hoyer Motors has made further investments in the in-house test centre with wider test range and services.

In 2019 Hoyer Motors opened an in-house test centre at the headquarters in Hadsten, Denmark. Now the facilities have been updated with, amongst other things, new load test services and heat run tests. These new test services will especially be of advantage for Hoyer Motors’ marine, wind and oil & gas markets.

“The launch of the new load test services means that we for instance can do prototype development with our wind customers. This can reduce their time to market when testing and developing new products,” says Thomas Vase, Technical Manager, Hoyer.

Technical partnerships

Hoyer Motors experiences increased customer requirements for technical documentation in several niche markets. Investing in the test capabilities is part of the overall strategic focus at Hoyer. By offering in-house testing Hoyer Motors is not dependent on external testing. Thus, it is possible to offer high quality technical documentation on demand.

“At Hoyer Motors we focus on developing technical partnerships with our customers and investing further in our in-house test facilities is part of this focus. We thereby improve our services and flexibility towards the customers even more ,” says Henrik Sørensen, CEO at Hoyer.

In addition to the test centre in Hadsten, Denmark, Hoyer also has an in-house test centre at their facilities in Ningbo China. The two centres work closely together in providing test data and ensuring fast and efficient servicing of the customers.
